Les saumons de la Cap-Chat
Every year, a journey for thousands of fish begin in the Cap-Chat River in the Gaspésie, returning to their birthplace to procreate. We can see big Atlantic salmons and also big trouts. In October, at the end of the season, when the cold returns, the level of the river is too low for latecomers. Impossible for them to continue to climb up to the Chic-Chocs mountains. They end up in pits not to die, exhausted by fighting against the current. This is the perfect moment to observe them and avoiding to scare or stress them.
