I observed this small jellyfish in Forillon National Park in Gaspésie during a freediving photo session. It is very easy to get close to jellyfish since this animal almost does not react to our presence! However, to take photos close to its "umbrella", you have to be careful because it can quickly become stinging! Its color changes according to age: pink or yellow for the young ones, orange, red and brown when they are older. Its sting is painful and in rare cases it can even affect the breathing and heart for humans.
