This photo was taken early in March with a very nice weather (we were in t-shirt above the ice). We can see the flippers of my friend and coach Rodrigo by the hole, ready to start his dive with 3 students. Usually most ice divers use a lifeline system, but for my part in these conditions I am not tied up so that the rope does not spoil the shots. Being the only divers in this old quarry that day and with a beautiful sun, the visibility was perfect. Ideal for taking pictures, I made the choice to dive with an oxygen tank so that I would have more time to adjust my camera and be able to take more distance from the only exit hole.
